Dr. Heba Kotb: Dumb ass Egyptian hijabi

Ugly whore! I can't stand ignorant Arabs who are "doctors" who spout all this bullshit about homosexuality. Clearly, the lot of them are deluded and are incapable of seeing the real facts. It bothers me but I who cares about what this kalba thinks anyway! Salon did an interview with "Doctor" Heba Kotb, who appears on a hit TV show called "Big Talk".

Here is "Doctor" Kotb opinion on homosexuality:

Well, I have a very famous opinion about homosexuality. I'm totally against homosexuality being considered a gene or natural. It's a sin -- they're just like the alcoholics and the drug-takers. I'm also the reason for a lot of patients to have been cured -- so, no, I can't believe that it is natural.

WHAT THE FUCK?! Ga7ba kbeera....

Cairo is going to hell...

BBC reports that Cairo's once famous nightlife is going down in flames. Yeah, I knew that already but once a big news conglomerate like BBC reports on it...it must be official! It's depressing especially when you watch one of those old Egyptian black and white films from the 50s. Now the new Egyptian films are usually boring and full of stupid sha3bi music about fruits, vegetables and donkeys. Ugh....vomit.

Kids, this is what happens if you don't do your homework in Egypt...

Your teacher beats the crap out of you...to an inch of your life. Only in Egypt I suppose. 3ayib!

So next time, finish your homework!!! Or else...

Egypt school beating 'kills boy' "

This article is depressing. I promise my next blog post will be frivolous and wacky. It will offer nothing meaningful except to make you laugh hysterically or put a smile on your face.

Haifa "singing" on Taratata

Haifa will be singing with Egyptian singer Hisham Abbas on Taratata (another copied show). Apparently, she will actually sing classic songs from the likes of Saba7 and Abdel Halim. I wanna see this. Knowing Haifa, she'll butcher the songs...a musical train wreck in the making. Smallah!!!!!!!!!!

Al-Bawaba: Hisham and Haifa together on Taratata

On second thought, I think I'd rather see Haifa give Hisham a handjob. That would be waaay more entertaining than watching her butcher music. Or even better, Haifa screwing Hisham with a strap on. Smallah!!!!!!!

Egyptian men have no manners

This article from the BBC speaks for itself. It just pisses me off. If I saw some Egyptian guy sexual harresing a woman on the street, I'd hurl an insult at him. Maybe something like "Bas! Ayib mish hilu!!!" etc.

Dina fears the art of belly dancing is dying out

Ya Dina, ya Dina! Conservative Islam is big in Egypt. Very big. Bigger than Ahmad's "hoo haw" underneath his galabiya. So big, you might bleed to death by just looking at it.

It wasn't always this way. Egypt use to be one of the more liberal countries in the region and a testament to the heady days of Egyptian liberalism can be found in cinema before the 1980s.

One of the casualties of this new wave of conservatism is the art of "el ra's asshar'i" or belly dance. Check out the article from UAE's The National: Belly dancer fears her art is dying.

In less depressing news, Dina was featured on W magazine. I love the photo spreads!!!

Sexual harassment in Egypt

Although I have not been to Egypt (yet), I have many friends who have and they all tell me of frequent situations of sexual harassment by Egyptian men. I have read before that this moral degradation is a result of the economic stagnation and the craptastic Mubarak-government in power. Here is another article by the BBC on the situation Egypt's sexual harassment 'cancer'.

What strikes me as shocking are the opinions of actual Egyptian men.

This article reminds me of a recent incident during the last Eid Al-Fitr where women were publicly groped on the street, even the hijabis. This incident was blamed on Dina, the Egyptian belly dancer. Just another example of scapegoating...
